Lost Coast BDR-X Route Map
A BDR motorcycle map is an essential supplement to the free BDR GPS tracks when navigating BDR routes. This map contains the main route, detailed section descriptions, and information on points of interest, gas stops, seasonal weather, elevation profiles, and much more.
Set along one of the most remote stretches of coastline in the lower 48, the Lost Coast BDR-X leads riders through Northern California’s wild, dramatic terrain. Beginning in Fort Bragg, this 500-mile figure-eight loop follows hidden dirt tracks along the Pacific, climbs into the King Range and Sinkyone Wilderness, and winds through ancient redwood forests where ridge, river, and sea meet in rugged beauty.
With endless switchbacks, remote forest roads, world-class pavement, and historic coastal towns, each mile reveals new views of misty ridges, rocky shoreline, and towering redwoods. From fog-draped cliffs to secluded beaches, the Lost Coast BDR-X offers a rare sense of space, solitude, and true escape. The best season to ride is late May through October.
